WeekCal now gives you the option of locking your calendar with a 4 digit passcode. Additionally, if you have Touch ID and/or Face ID active on your device, those become options for locking and unlocking WeekCal as well.
Please note that once a Passcode is set, WeekCal Support has no way of helping you recover your calendar if you lose the Passcode. Please use the feature "Back up by Email" before activating this feature, to be safe. If you do back up your calendar via email, be sure you can access that email account on the device where WeekCal is installed.
How to set up WeekCal Passcode
- Tap the Gear to enter the Settings menu.
- Tap Privacy Lock in the list.
- If you have Touch ID or Face ID active on the device you will be prompted to allow WeekCal to use your Touch ID to unlock the app. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor and leave it still until the app unlocks. For Face ID, remain centered and still in the photo area until the app unlocks.
- If you do not have Face ID or Touch ID active on your device, you will only be prompted to create a Passcode. Input your new Passcode once and then a second time to confirm.
Warning - WeekCal cannot assist in recovering lost Passcodes.
