WeekCal (iOS): Dealing with Spam Events

What Are Spam Events?

Spam events are unwanted entries that appear in your calendar. They can be caused by Siri mistakenly adding events from other apps or by subscribing to a spam calendar.

Possible Reasons for Spam Events

1. Siri-Generated Events: Siri adds events to your local Calendar app based on information from other apps.

2. Spam Calendar Subscriptions: You might have unknowingly subscribed to a spam calendar.

How to Remove Spam Calendar Events

• Removing Spam Calendars

1. 1. Open the Calendars App: Launch the iOS default Calendars app on your iOS device.

   2. Tap the Unwanted Calendar Event: Tap on Calendars and then tap on the information icon beside the calendar you want to remove.

   3. Unsubscribe from the Calendar: Tap Unsubscribe from this Calendar at the bottom of the screen.

   4. Confirm Unsubscription: Tap Unsubscribe to confirm.

• Removing Siri Events

1. 1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
   2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, look for Apps and tap Mail.
   3. Select Siri.
   4. Turn off the toggle for Learn from this App.
