WeekCal - Adding & Deleting Local Calendars

Managing Your Local Calendars

WeekCal supports local calendars created through Apple Calendar on your iPhone or iPad. These calendars are stored directly on your device and can also be viewed and managed within WeekCal.

How to Add a Local Calendar

1. Open the Apple Calendar app
   Launch the native Calendar app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap the Calendar icon
   Tap Calendars at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, or in the upper-left corner on iPad.
3. Tap Add Calendar
   Select Add Calendar.
4. Create the calendar
   Enter the following details:
   • Calendar Name
   • Account (iCloud or On My iPhone)
   • Calendar Color
5. Save the calendar
   Tap the Check Mark to finish creating the calendar.

How to Delete a Local Calendar

1. Open the Apple Calendar app
   Launch Calendar on your device.
2. Open Calendars
   Tap the Calendars button.
3. Tap the info (i) icon
   Select the info icon next to the calendar you want to remove.
4. Delete the calendar
   Tap Delete Calendar.
5. Confirm deletion
   Confirm to permanently remove the calendar and its events.

Important Information

• Local calendars are stored only on your device.
• Events in local calendars do not sync with online calendar services unless moved to a synced account.
