Unsubscribing from a Popular Calendar is quick and easy as long as you remember that calendar subscriptions are stored in the native iOS calendar app.
How to unsubscribe from a Popular Calendar

Open the native iOS calendar app on your device.

Tap Calendars.

Find the subscribed calendar to be removed from the list of calendars and tap the i button to edit.

On the Edit Subscribed Subscribed Calendar screen, tap the Unsubscribe button at the bottom.

Choose an option to Unsubscribe or Unsubscribe and report the calendar as junk.

Once the calendar subscription has been deleted, the calendar will disappear from the calendar list.
