Known Issues
[UPDATE] v16.0.31
We have started a release in the App Store. This version includes an app update that should prevent the event edit issue from occurring. Please update to version 16.0.31 as soon as it becomes available in the App Store.
[UPDATE] We will soon release a new app version to address this issue. Please update to the newest app version once it is available in the App Store.
We're currently aware of an issue affecting users who have updated to iOS 18.4. When attempting to make changes to an existing calendar event in WeekCal, an error message may appear, preventing the update from being saved. This issue is not limited to WeekCal and is associated with iOS 18.4. Our team is actively monitoring the situation and exploring possible workarounds.
An error message appears when changing the calendar to an existing event. If a calendar is changed, this error appears for other changes, such as event time or color.
What We’re Doing
Our team is actively investigating the issue, and we’ll provide updates on this page as soon as we have more information.
[Update] Please update to the latest version, back up to email, and then reinstall the app.
Before uninstalling, please back up your settings via email by following the steps on this link:
WeekCal - Settings Backup / Sync
We recommend sending backed-up WeekCal Settings to an email address that you can access on the device where the WeekCal app is installed. You can then recover your WeekCal settings by opening the email after reinstalling the app.
In order to restore the settings:
Reinstall the WeekCal app after you've deleted it
- Find the file that you emailed yourself (find it while browsing on your iPhone)
- Tap on the file. It will ask you what to open it with.
- Find WeekCal among the options, and it will import the file to the WeekCal app.
